From clutter to clarity — fractional COO and AI strategy for founders and small businesses
Your operations are quietly leaking time and money. In 30 seconds, I'll show you exactly where, and what it's costing you.
See what you're missing. In about 30 seconds.
Tell me what your business does. I'll point to three specific AI and automation wins hiding in your operations, and what each is typically worth.
Every business has a hidden pain. I find yours, then prescribe the fix.
I diagnose where your operations quietly cost you time, margin, and growth, then prescribe the right mix of operating fixes and AI to solve it. Not tools for the sake of tools. The specific medicine your business actually needs.
Diagnosis first
I find the real pain, the process quietly draining time, margin, or growth, before prescribing anything.
The right medicine
Sometimes a workflow fix, sometimes AI, usually both. The cure fits the pain, never the hype.
Built and embedded
I don't write a prescription and leave. I build the fix with you and make sure it takes hold.

Twenty years in the engine room of real businesses. Now with AI built into the fix.
I'm Ilan Davimes, founder of Nali Solutions. I've spent over two decades running and fixing operations across regulated financial services, professional services, and technology, on three continents. And I've sat where you sit: as a shareholder and director of Umoya Cellular, I helped build a business to a seven-figure asset sale in 2014.
My work is simple to describe and hard to do: take a business from clutter to clarity. I find where your operations quietly cap growth, fix the messy foundations, then layer in the AI and automation that actually move revenue. Operator, not adviser. I stay and build.
I work with founders and small businesses who know AI could grow them but have no idea where to start. If that's you, the Finder above is the fastest way to see what's possible.
What it's like to work with me.
From the people I've built alongside - leaders I've worked with across partnerships, operations, and go-to-market. Via LinkedIn.
“His creativity, strategic thinking, and relentless follow-through consistently translated into measurable results - including a dependable revenue stream that became a key driver of our company's growth.”
“He brought a sense of calm, clarity, and focus to fast-moving conversations. His ability to navigate complex negotiations, align stakeholders, and execute consistently elevated our brand and offering.”
“Ilan leads with both heart and strategic clarity. He picks up on nuances others might miss, facilitates tough conversations with care, and brings direction that moves teams forward with clarity and purpose.”
“Extremely smart and innovative. He consistently supported me and helped me think outside the box with ways to grow my business.”
Getting started is the easy part.

Two decades of operating credibility behind every engagement.

During his tenure, the business scaled from roughly 300 to 1,500 people in nine months. The same operator judgement now goes into founder-led businesses, with AI built in.

What does “fractional COO” actually mean?
You get a senior operator inside your business for a fraction of the week, at a fraction of the cost of a full-time hire. I'm not an adviser who writes a report and leaves - I embed, run real projects, and stay until the fixes take hold. You get two decades of operating experience without the six-figure salary that usually comes with it.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
Founder-led businesses, typically 1 to 50 people - trades and home services, property, hospitality, professional services, and others. The common thread isn't the industry; it's the situation: you know your operations are leaking time and money, you suspect AI and automation could help, and you don't know where to start.
Do we need to be technical?
No, and most of my clients aren't. Picking the right tools is my job, not yours - and the right answer is usually boring, reliable automation rather than whatever is trending. If a workflow fix solves it without any new software, that's what I'll recommend.
What does it cost?
Three ways in, in increasing commitment: the AI Opportunity Finder is free and takes 30 seconds. The Operations Teardown is a fixed price agreed before we start. Fractional COO work runs as accountable projects, scoped and priced up front. You will always know the number before anything begins - no open-ended retainers, no surprise invoices.
What happens on the first call?
Thirty minutes, straight conversation. We look at where your operations leak, whether fixing them is worth the effort, and what it would take. No pitch and no discovery-call runaround - and if the honest answer is that you don't need me, I'll say so and point you at what to do yourself.
How is this different from hiring a consultant or an agency?
Consultants diagnose and leave; agencies build what you ask for, whether or not it's the right thing. I do the diagnosis and stay for the build - operator, not adviser. The work is measured against outcomes you'd defend in a board meeting, not against a deliverables list.
Where do you work?
I'm based in Jersey, Channel Islands, and work with local businesses in person. Everything I do also works remotely, so location isn't a constraint - the operations of a business in Southampton or Cape Town leak the same way they do in St Helier.
